We are a private, not-for-profit after-school program serving the Ward School community. Licensed by the State of Massachusetts, our Board of Directors and our team of talented teachers strive to offer a creative and comfortable environment for kids to learn and play!
Our
Story
Ward After-School was founded by working parents in 1979. Since then, we've grown from a dozen students to nearly 100 students per day. Today, we proudly serve nearly 75% of the Ward School population!
Our Philosophy
The Ward After-School Program believes that children’s out-of-school time should include a variety of enriching, educational, and recreational activities. Staffed by qualified and talented teachers, the program provides a safe and structured environment and a nurturing community where the children are encouraged to play, to develop friendships, and to discover new interests.
