The Older Kids "OK" Club
All 4th and 5th graders enrolled in After-School are automatically part of our OK Club.
OK Clubbers get to take part in special After-School perks like Wednesday special events and field trips, Ward Bucks, and a special older-kids only After-School space called our "OK ClubHouse."
Field Trips and Special Events
Each Wednesday, 4th and 5th graders partake in special events or field trips all around the greater Boston Area. In the past, we've visited the Museum of Science, walked The Freedom Trail, learned about exotic animals, space, and much, much more!
Ward Bucks
While at After-School, students have the opportunity to complete small jobs in exchange for "Ward Bucks," our After-School currency. They may help by organizing our supplies or game shelves, providing extra support to a teacher during activity times, or lending a hand to a younger student. At the end of the year, students can spend their earned Ward Bucks on small prizes at the Ward Bucks Store.
